Chennai Home Guards Organise Prayers Ahead Of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman’s Return From Pakistan

Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will return to India on Friday afternoon. The development comes a day after Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan announced in Parliament that Varthaman would be released on Friday as a “peace gesture”. The news of his release has prompted many to come forward and celebrate. A special thanksgiving prayer was organised by the state Home Guards in Chennai.

Varthaman’s MiG 21 was shot and he bailed out after bringing down one Pakistani F-16 fighter during a dogfight to repel a Pakistani attack on Wednesday morning. He has been in Pakistan since then.Click Here: ADELAIDE CROWS 2019 MEN’S HOME GUERNSEY
