UK Is Going To Auction Priceless Belongings Of Tipu Sultan, India Will Only Remain A Spectator

Two weeks after a family in the United Kingdom found artefacts belonging to the King of Mysore Tipu Sultan, the precious items will go under the hammer on Tuesday. An auction house named Antony Cribb Ltd. Arms and armour will auction several items despite objection by the Indian High Commission.

The family which had discovered these several artefacts claimed that they were found in the attic of their ancestor, Major Thomas Hart, who was an army officer with the British East India Company.
