A living legend of Russian volleyball, Vadim Khamuttskikh, returns to the professional competition. This surprising news has been announced by volleyball medias in Russia.
Vadim Khamuttskikh, born in 1969, finished his career in May, 2011. As it turn out, his decision was not ultimate and it was only a short vocation.
According to Russian medias in charge of volleyball, Vadim Khamuttskikh has already signed a contract with Belogorie Belgorod, which will take effect till the end of the season. It will not be a first adventure with Belgorod for this experienced player. Previously, he guided the Belogorie’s play in the following seasons: 1993 – 1999, 2001 – 2006 and 2009 – 2011.
It´s worth adding that Vadim Khamuttskikh will be the third setter in the jersey of Belgorod because Genadine Shipulyn (the head coach of Belgorie) has already a German Lukas Kampa and Sergey Makarov at his disposal.
