Analysis: Three questions facing Britain in Brexit crunch week

The Brexit talks move into a critical phase this week as key decision-makers meet in London and Brussels to address some of the most fundamental issues facing both sides.

Michel Barnier, the EU chief negotiator, meets Theresa May and David Davis in London today, before technical talks open in Brussels on a transition deal tomorrow. Then on Wednesday and Thursday, as talks continue in Brussels, the inner Brexit ‘war cabinet’ meets to try and hammer out an agreement on what kind of Brexit Britain wants.
