River Valley State Champion Lance Briard has chosen to continue his wrestling career at Division II Augustana College next season.
Briard is a two-time state place winner. He won the Class A heavyweight state championship this year as a senior. He also placed fifth as a junior. Briard finished his high school career with a record of 97-18.
He plans to compete at 285 pounds in college.
