EDMOND, Okla. – Augustana jumped four spots in the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches’ Association Poll and is now ranked 15th. The Vikings were one of four NSIC schools that earned a spot in this week’s edition of the rankings, with St. Cloud State holding down the No. 1 ranking in the country.

Augustana has two individuals ranked in the top eight of their respective weight classes. Nate Herda moved up two spots and is now ranked third at 149 pounds. Jayd Docken earned the No. 6 ranking at 197 pounds for the second straight poll.
Herda currently owns a record of 20-4 on the season and is riding a five-match winning streak. The senior has won nine of his last 10 bouts and has only one loss against a Division II opponent this season.
Docken is 14-4 on the season and has won eight of his last 10 bouts, including four straight.
Augustana returns to action this weekend taking on Northern State and Minot State on the road.
