For the first time since WCW closed its doors, Halloween Havoc made its return last night.
Last night’s Halloween Havoc episode of NXT was hosted by Shotzi Blackheart and featured three Halloween-themed stipulation matches. Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal decided the stipulations for Io Shirai vs. Candice LeRae and Damian Priest vs. Johnny Gargano. Shirai defended her NXT Women’s Championship against LeRae in a Tables, Ladders & Scares match in last night’s main event, while Priest defended his North American Championship against Gargano in a Devil’s Playground match in the opener.
Dexter Lumis and Cameron Grimes also faced off in a Haunted House of Terror match that was mostly cinematic.
Plus, Pete Dunne made his return to NXT and aligned with Pat McAfee, Oney Lorcan, and Danny Burch, Rhea Ripley took on Raquel Gonzalez, and NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar faced Jake Atlas in a non-title match.
