On Friday’s edition of Busted Open Radio on Sirius XM, WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry revealed his personal list of the top ten African-American pro wrestlers of all-time.
To the surprise of no one, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson topped “The World’s Strongest Man’s” list. Following “The Great One,” however, was an interesting choice, as Henry picked Jim Mitchell.
From there, Bobo Brazil, the first-ever African-American WCW World Champion Ron Simmons and Sailor Art Thomas rounded out the top five of Henry’s list.
Also included in Henry’s list are Booker T, Luther Lindsey, Bearcat Wright and Carlos Colon. The complete list, in order, looks as follows:
MARK HENRY’S TOP 10 AFRICAN-AMERICAN PRO WRESTLERS OF ALL-TIME
1. The Rock
2. Jim Mitchell
3. Bobo Brazil
4. Ron Simmons
5. Sailor Art Thomas
6. Ernie Ladd
7. Booker T

10. Carlos Colon
Of course, if anyone but Henry were making the list, he would be in the top five himself on most lists. Check out the tweet featuring Mark Henry’s top ten list from the official Twitter page of Busted Open Radio below.
