The NFL’s Miami Dolphins, the Miami Beach Convention Center, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and the American Airlines Arena/HEAT Group have submitted a bid to host WWE’s WrestleMania event in 2018, 2019 or 2020, according to The Miami Herald.
WrestleMania 33 in 2017 is already confirmed to take place in Orlando, Florida, so it’s doubtful that WWE will run Florida back-to-back years, making the bid for 2018 in Miami unlikely. WrestleMania 35 in 2019, or WrestleMania 36 in 2020, however, are possibilities.
The plan right now would be to hold the WrestleMania 35 or WrestleMania 36 event at the currently un-named Dolphins stadium, which recently underwent $500 million in renovations.
