Last Friday’s WWE SmackDown on Fox averaged 2.217 million viewers, up 11.4% from last week.
That number was the third lowest the show has done so far this year.
The rating in the 18-49 demo was 0.59, up 3.5% from the previous week. The show finished second in that demo on both network TV and all of TV for the night. In 18-34, the show did a 0.35, also second, trailing ABC’s Shark Tank in both categories.
In total viewers, Fox was a distant fourth on the night as no other network averaged below 3.2 million viewers.
Year over year, SmackDown was down 10.8% in viewers. They were also down 15.7% in 18-49 and 30% in 18-34, meaning the show continues to skew older than it did in 2020.
The show was the go-home for Sunday’s Elimination Chamber and featured a six-man tag match with all of the competitors in the SmackDown Chamber match in addition to Edge confronting WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
