PWInsider is reporting that All Elite Wrestling has filed a trademark for the use of the term “All Elite Wrestling Blood & Guts.” Likely stemming from Vince McMahon’s recent statement that WWE will not be a “blood & guts company,” the name is likely a PPV/event name.
Cody Rhodes also applied for the trademark for “Match Beyond,” which was the subtitle of Rhodes’s father’s invention, WarGames. While WarGames is owned by WWE, Cody’s application would at least give AEW a piece of the WarGames legacy.
