TMZ recently caught up with Brooke and Nick Hogan, the children of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, and during the brief interview, which you can watch above, Brooke and Nick were asked about the passing of Leon “Big Van Vader” White earlier this week.
Brooke on Vader’s passing:
“He was somebody that we ran into a lot when we were kids, and my dad was very sad today, it was definitely a heavy day for our family, so we wish all of his family and friends and loved ones the best.”

Nick on Vader’s passing:
“He was part of our childhood, he was always a really nice guy. It sucks. My dad had actually wrestled him a couple of times and they had become friends, so…We got up today and we heard the news and it was just kinda somber, everybody was really upset about it.”
In related news, WWE once again paid tribute to Vader at Thursday night’s NXT TV tapings, as a moment of silence was held in memory of the late wrestling legend:
