THE RUGBY WORLD Cup takes place this autumn and in a break from the norm, the traditional rights holders won’t be showing any of the action. We are used to watching Ireland play on RTÉ or BBC but it is TV3 and ITV who will be showing the tournament this year.
Both stations have been filling their roster with various pundits and commentators and there looks to be quite a decent selection.
The42′s own Murray Kinsella will be a part of TV3′s coverage while Brian O’Driscoll will be in the studio for ITV.
But one man who won’t be involved with the English station is commentator Brian Moore, who is a regular in the booth for England games on the BBC.

Moore sent a tweet earlier explaining why the ITV didn’t want him on television during the World Cup.
