Foot Mercato report tonight that Paris Saint-Germain and Inter and set to hold a new meeting tomorrow to discuss the possible transfer of defender Milan Škriniar, who remains the Ligue 1 champions’ priority this window.
The Slovakian defender’s arrival is one of two transfers the club want to get across the line in the next few days, along with Renato Sanches from Lille. An agreement in principle over personal terms had been agreed with both last month, but PSG have faced stumbling blocks in talks with their respective clubs.
The Nerazzurri had been asking for an €80m fee for their centre-half, who has one year left on his contract. PSG have so far been unwilling to match that valuation, and the prospect of Škriniar remaining in Italy and extending his contract was emerging.
Nevertheless, Les Parisiens retain hope of bringing in the 27-year-old and convincing Inter to lower their asking price. The player himself is keen on the move.

The Slovakia international has been with the club for the last five years, making over 200 appearances and notably playing a part in the 2020/21 title win under Antonio Conte.
