Paul Pogba signs 4 year deal with Juventus

As reported by Foot Mercato, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has signed a contract with his former club Juventus with his deal in England soon to expire.

After no agreement could be found with Manchester United, who the French international has already left for Juventus once in his career, the 29-year-old midfielder has been free to sign a deal with whomever he chooses ahead of next season from January.

Talks have been ongoing for several weeks, with Real Madrid and PSG (where Pogba was reportedly waiting for Zinedine Zidane to signal his intentions) also keen on the player who also turned down an approach from Manchester City. He has instead signed a four-year contract with the Italian club where spent four years between 2012 and 2016 before returning to United for around €100m.

Pogba will be looking to help Juve return to the top of Serie A after the Milan clubs shared the last two Italian league titles following one goal and nine assists for United in 27 games across an injury-affected season in 21/22.
