Le Parisien report this morning that Lens midfielder Séko Fofana is among Paris Saint-Germain’s transfer targets for the summer, as the club look to reinforce their options in the middle.
The 27-year-old has been one of the finest players in Ligue 1 since his return from Italy two years ago, consistently putting in standout performances which saw him win the GFFN 100 last year.
Having played all 38 league games this season, and scored 10 in all competitions, the former Manchester City man would solve the team’s lack of goal threat from midfield as well as being consistently fit, unlike Marco Verratti for example.
Lens could be set to ask for double the price they bought him for from Udinese, which was a club-record fee of €10m. Fofana himself is said to be dreaming of a move to Paris, but has also attracted interest from Marseille and Lyon.
