As reported by BUT, with Lille’s goalkeeping situation uncertain in the longer term as Ivo Grbic, who was recently dropped, is set to return to Atlético Madrid at the end of the season, LOSC have been on the lookout for a new keeper.
Altay Bayindir of Fenerbache, a 23-year-old Turkish international, is currently a front runner for the Lille recruitment department ahead of next season. His current contract in Turkey is set to expire at the end of next season. Bayindir is also of interest to scouts from Marseille, Lyon and Lorient.
The 20-year-old Lucas Chevalier, currently on loan at Valenciennes in Ligue 2 where he has impressed this season, will also offer competition for incumbent Leo Jardim in the Lille goal next term.
