As reported by Foot Mercato, Turkish club Trabzonspor are leading the chase for Nîmes attacking midfielder and Algerian international Zinedine Ferhat.
Having been the club’s talisman in Ligue 1 before their relegation, Ferhat, now 28, failed to find a move back to Ligue 1 over the summer despite links with Marseille and Strasbourg and has been stuck in Ligue 2 as Nîmes struggle in mid-table.
Although Celtic, Montpellier and Saint-Étienne are also interested in the player, Turkish side Trabzonspor are current favourites to sign Ferhat and have made him a priority with discussions set to start in the coming days as the former Le Havre man’s contract expires in the summer.
