Official | Brest sign Steve Mounié from Huddersfield Town for a reported €5m

Ligue 1 side Brest have announced the arrival of 25-year-old Benin international attacker Steve Mounié, joining on a permanent basis from Championship side Huddersfield Town for a reported €5m fee.

Mounié returns to Ligue 1 for the first time since 2017 after quitting Montpellier for Huddersfield – he experienced the Premier League with the Yorkshire outfit, scoring 9 goals and 5 assists in 59 matches.

Mounié has signed a contract with SB29 until June 2024 and provides some much needed Ligue 1 goalscoring pedigree to an inexperienced attack.
