Our colleagues at Foot Mercato report that Premier League side Watford have in recent hours had a proposal for Ligue 1 club Stade de Reims left-back Hassane Kamara rejected.
The proposal has fallen short of the €5.5m asking price set by SDR, who internally appear resigned to losing the 25-year-old this month.
It is unclear at this stage whether or not the Hornets will return for Kamara this month.
