PSG want €5m to €7m to part with Layvin Kurzawa

L’Équipe report this morning that PSG want between €5m and €7m in order to sell French international left-back Layvin Kurzawa this month.

Since signing with Kia Joorabchian, a move to Arsenal, where the latter seems to be virtually dictating transfer policy, has been in the offing. The first concrete step was taken at the beginning of this week, a meeting in London between agents trying to push Kurzawa to Arsenal and his family and entourage. PSG are happy to let Kurzawa go without signing a replacement, as they feel that Abdou Diallo can fill in as back-up to Juan Bernat.

If Arsenal want to sign Kurzawa now, the newspaper feels that between €5m to €7m is what it is going to take.

As of last night, a feeling also echoed by Le Parisien and by this L’Équipe report is that there has not been any formal contact between Arsenal and PSG yet in these discussions, and that it is all being driven by Joorabchian. Kurzawa announced on social media last night that he was now a client of Joorabchian’s Sports Invest UK agency.
