France Football report that Ligue 1 side Nantes remain active in the summer transfer window with just a number of days left to go.
With just 98 minutes played so far this season for Bordeaux, 34-year-old French striker Jimmy Briand could look elsewhere and FCN are interested in adding him to their set-up, with new manager Christian Gourcuff wanting to play a 4-4-2 formation.
Briand has started from the substitutes bench in the early going for Les Girondins and with 12 months remaining on his contract, he may well listen to proposals.
Elsewhere, 25-year-old attacking midfielder of DC United, Luciano Acosta, is a player that Gourcuff would like to sign. The Argentinian was notably close to a move to PSG at the end of the most recent January transfer window.
