Lille have today announced the season-loan deal of young Albanian midfielder Agim Zeka to Portuguese second division side Leixões S.C.
The 19-year-old winger moved to the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in January 2017 from Albanian side Skënderbeu Korçë for €300k and spent the second half of last season on loan at fellow Portuguese second division side Varzim S.C.
Zeka- who despite being born in Germany – has collected two international caps for the Albanian U-21 team and will be hoping for further playing time in Portugal this season to boost his chances of making a future first-team breakthrough for Christophe Galtier’s side.
His contract with Les Dogues currently runs until June 2021.
