Premier League side Watford have had an oral offer for Lyon attacker Maxwel Cornet rejected worth €12m, according to L’Équipe.
The process did not go any further than that, because Lyon manager Bruno Génésio wants to keep the Ivorian international attacker, who wants to participate in European football for 2017/18.
