On October 14, an investor asked Chongde Technology（SUND） on an interactive platform whether the bearings used in the contract signed between the company and Dongfang Electric could be fully localized and what type of bearing technology was replaced.
Chongde Technology responded that the company recently won the framework agreement for the 2025 heavy-duty gas turbine support bearings (F4/F5/J series) of Dongfang Turbine Co., Ltd. of Dongfang Electric Group. In response to the large size and special material requirements of heavy-duty gas turbine bearings, Chongde Technology has developed corresponding manufacturing processes and solved the casting technology problems of large-size copper alloy tiles. With specially developed processes and customized tools, the company ensures the dimensional accuracy of all components and final assemblies, overcomes the technical difficulties of high-precision manufacturing of heavy-duty gas turbine bearings, and realizes independent design and production, thus breaking the international technology monopoly.
