Mapou Yanga Mbiwa: “Nothing is working”

Speaking in a press conference today ahead of Lyon’s match at the weekend against Toulouse, Mapou Yanga Mbiwa had the following to say.

“Unconsciously, we are making less effort, there is less solidarity between us. We must find the strength of 2014. I have already experienced this situation after the title with Montpellier. We all know what the problem is. We must say stop and if we have to work 30 minutes more, we will. The solution is to get back to work. We are all looking at each other, we are waiting to see who will take control. The sooner we solve this, the better it will get.”

“(I have been) catastrophic, like the rest of the team. It is clear that there is tension throughout the dressing rooms. When things are going less well, there are unhappy individuals. We need to be conscious of the real problem… It is not easy to integrate (the group). The problem comes from everybody. Nothing is working. There is nothing.”
