Bayern Munich held a recent meeting with Nicolas Pépé’s representatives

Our colleagues at Foot Mercato report that Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich recently held a meeting in Paris with the representatives of Lille attacker Nicolas Pépé.

More than ever, the outlet claims that the Bavarian side are in pole position to land the Ivorian, with the player very attracted to the project on offer from Niko Kovac’s side.

Although the outlet indicates that it cannot confirm or deny claims from BeIN Sports a couple of weeks ago that Bayern had made an €80m offer to purchase the player, they confirm that the side who are about to lose Franck Ribéry and Arjen Robben lead the race to land Pépé, who has got 18 goals and 9 assists in Ligue 1 so far this season.
