France Football report this week that German giants Bayern Munich remain intent on swooping in the summer transfer window to sign French left-back and central defender Lucas Hernandez from Atletico Madrid.
Bayern chief Uli Hoeness recently said of the player: “Hernandez is a world champion and, if we feel like it is worth paying his release clause (€80m) then we will do so. We are willing to align ourselves to obtain the transfer. Although this situation has currently cooled, it could warm up again.”
The magazine also claims that Bayern Munich will not be going after Nabil Fékir or Adrien Rabiot this summer, but retain an interest in Nicolas Pépé (Lille) and Florian Thauvin (Marseille).
