At night one of the two-night NXT UK television taping on Friday, a NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II live special on the WWE Network was announced.
NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 11, 2020, and will stream live via the WWE Network.
The first NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool event was held in Blackpool, Lancashire, England on January 12, 2019 at the Empress Ballroom.
While not yet confirmed, the NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II event on 1/11 will likely take place in the same venue.
The NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II event will be the third “TakeOver” special for the NXT UK brand. The second special, titled NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff, emanated from the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales on August 31, 2019.
