— In a follow-up to a previous headline about Vince McMahon completely re-writing Tuesday’s Smackdown in Memphis, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes it was because Vince felt that the original script of the show that was presented to him didn’t do a good job following up on the show from the prior week nor did it effectively build towards SummerSlam. The last minute nature of the show was so significant that McMahon apparently was still re-writing the second hour of the show while the first was being played out live.
