— On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE’s plan for both women’s titles is that eventually they will be “broken off” again but that WWE is saying that is “to be determined” at this point.
— Dave Meltzer speculated that while WWE will likely have whoever wins the match hang onto both belts for a little bit, the long term plan is always to have separate women’s titles for both brands so a true unification is unlikely.
— It was also suggested that with this match main eventing and ending the show, it is likely that Becky Lynch will win the match and both championships as either a Rousey or Charlotte win end the show on a note that the audience will not appreciate.
