It was teased on Smackdown Live this week that R-Truth and Carmella would be heading to San Diego Comic-Con for more shenanigans with the WWE 24/7 Championship. According to PWInsider.com, the champion is already in town for the convention, as is Drake Maverick.
WWE and Mattel will be hosting their annual SDCC panel this Thursday morning, where they present all the new action figures and collections coming soon and in the works. The panel will be hosted by noted collectors Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins, and will also feature San Diego’s own Rey Mysterio, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
