Darby Allin Claims Shawn Spears “Stole His Moment” at AEW Fyter Fest

Darby Allin has a problem with Shawn Spears.

The All Elite Wrestling newcomer posted a video on Twitter this weekend sending a message to the so-called “Perfect Ten” ahead of their six-man tag team match tonight at AEW Fight for the Fallen.

Just two weeks ago at Fyter Fest, Spears shocked the world by rush the ring and blasting Cody Rhodes with an “unprotected” steel chair shot across his skull, requiring the “American Nightmare” to receive 10 staples in the back of his head.

Darby Allin believes that in doing so, Spears “stole his moment” at Fyre Fest, just moments after he had taken Cody, a former world champion not to mention AEW Executive Vice President, to an impressive time-limit draw.

“Darby Allin’s debut in AEW became an afterthought. Shawn I don’t think understand what you did when you climbed into the ring at the end of my match. You stole my moment. You stole everything I worked so hard for. You may have a problem with Cody, but now you got a problem with me. Perfect 10? If that ain’t the most generic sounding, piece of shit name I’ve ever heard. It sounds like a 10-year-old came up with it.”

Tonight at AEW Fight for the Fallen we will see Darby team with Jimmy Havoc and the “Bad Boy” Joey Janela to take on the unlikely trio of Shawn Spears, MJF and Sammy Guevara.

My @AEWrestling debut was overlooked by @Perfec10n chair shot to cody.

I will have my rematch with cody sooner or later…..But don’t think tomorrow at fight for the fallen i’m not coming for yer head shawn.
