Stokely Hathaway, best known for his work as a manager with EVOLVE and Ring of Honor, made his debut with the WWE NXT brand this Friday night in Tampa, Florida.
Given that WWE hasn’t consistently utilized managers outside of Paul Heyman on the main roster since the 90s, many have questioned what role Hathaway was brought in to play. You can put that question to bed, as he debuted at Friday’s show as a manager for the monstrous Babatunde Aiyegbusi. It appears that he will also be working under the name Court Moore going forward.
Interestingly enough, Hathaway — or Moore, as we’ll be forced to call him now — isn’t the only brand new manager on the NXT Live crew. Former Impact Wrestling star Robbie E also debuted at Thursday night’s show in Sanford, Florida as a manager for Saurav Gurjar and Rinku Singh. It’s unknown whether or not he or WWE has any plans for him to wrestle going forward.
