WWE Smackdown Live Viewership Drops Heading Into Hell in a Cell
According to ShowBuzzDaily.com, this week’s edition of WWE Smackdown Live, which was the go-home show for this weekend’s WWE Hell in a Cell PPV, averaged 2.323 million viewers, which is down from last week’s 2.542 million viewership average.

The show featured a previously announced face-off between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens, as well as Baron Corbin vs Tye Dillinger, and an interview segment with Shinsuke Nakamura.
This week’s WWE Smackdown ranked #3 for night night on cable TV. It’s worth noting that the show did go up against the New York Yankees vs Minnesota Twins Wild Card playoff game, which drew a big number for Major League Baseball on Tuesday night.
